WE LOVE YOU, LUNA GIRL

My last post I wrote that I was going back to Delray Beach, Florida to have a tattoo in memory of our precious Luna girl.  She is a beautiful golden retriever who died at the age of 6 from cancer.

On Saturday, August 18th , we had our appointment for our tattoos.  There are 4 of us that had tattoos in memory of our Luna girl.  It was an awesome experience.  We decided to take that day and celebrate Luna’s life.  We took her paw print that was made by her vet and gave it to the tattoo artist to put on all of our legs.  Each of us memorialized Luna in our own special way.  We took her paw print and add our own special words for her.  I always called her “my baby girl”.  My girlfriend called Luna her “Babydog”.

We took lots of pictures.  It was a big party.  We had pictures taken with the tattoo artist and pictures throughout the whole process of the tattooing.  The tattoos are so beautiful, we are so pleased.  It was well worth any pain that any of us may have felt.

We also felt our Luna’s girl presence.  We know she was with us the whole time.  Besides having her store Luna’s Love of Life Gifts keeping her memory alive, we also have our tattoos of her which we will take to our grave.
